What is Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is a beautiful relaxing therapy which focuses on your sense of smell. Your sense of smell can have a powerful effect on your mind and body.

Essential oils are extracted and refined from a variety of sources including flowers, seeds and leaves. The oils can be used in a variety of ways which include; massage, burner inhalation, humidifier and creams. The essential oils are blended with carrier oil that is suitable for the client and the blend.

Suitability for treatment

To ensure maximum comfort each client is given a patch test where essential oils/carrier oils are placed a cotton wool pad on the forearm for 24 hours.

How many treatments will I need?

If a detailed treatment plan is required I recommend a course of 6 weekly appointments and then once a month thereafter however each client treatment plan is tailored to the individual’s requirements.
